The makings of Slow Motion began six years ago long before we became Coral Snake, simply hanging out with some pizza & beer around the fire. The foundations were born through the opening riff and the first lines of the chorus coming to Jamie while staring into the flames. From there the remainder of the song's structure and lyrics, focusing on relationships breaking through toxicity and finding beauty in the ashes, were developed. We developed it into the original version released in December 2021 and thought it lent itself perfectly to an acoustic arrangement. It highlights our versatility as band and showcases frontman Jamie's voice perfectly as the arrangement grows from beginning to end.

Coral Snake are set to kick 2023 off with a bang through their new single 'Late Night Call'. Unashamedly honest about the no strings attached sexual exploits through the eyes of an uncommitted singleton, 'Late Night Call' is an energetic, upbeat, explosive & climatic rock song that many people will be able to relate to. The lyrics do not hold back and it has the potential to be the bedroom jam of 2023!

With lyrics that explore the theme of feeling alone, isolated and helpless, the overarching message of 'Not Alone' is that no one is ever on their own in the world, and that there is always someone to turn to for that help they might need.

Hailing from North East England, the home of many legends of rock, Coral Snake are here to continue that legacy and cement their place as one of the finest rock acts to come out of the region. A post grunge band with a mix of alt-rock and a dash of metal, taking influence from other genre defining bands such as Nickelback and Alter Bridge, their music is powerful, honest and passionate, complemented with lyrics that tell stories of personal experience. 
Fronted by the vocal powerhouse of Jamie Farrell, they produce music with the strong backbeat of drums from Joe Fletcher, blistering guitar solos from Chris Hill and melodies that have crowds guaranteed to be singing at the top of their lungs.
Coral Snake released their debut EP ‘Sever Ties’ in 2022 to round off a very successful year that also saw them support Kris Barras Band alongside Florence Black. They’ve also featured continuously on various radio shows throughout the UK & US, including Planet Rock and BBC Introducing. Having kicked off 2023 with the release of their second EP 'Six Feet Under' which was mastered by the legendary Barry Grint of Air Studios, and a second place prize for 'Best Hard Rock Act' at the Radio Wigwam awards, Coral Snake show no signs of slowing down.
