Ottomatick, (born Gaige Otto Hermanson) is a rapper and singer who started his life in Michigan. While attending university for chemical engineering, Otto designed a system that tested children for food intolerances to change their diet before relying on prescription medicines for ADHD. After much notoriety, the project was shut down due to the influences of a pharmaceutical representative, two weeks before clinical trials were set to start. As a result, Otto quit his job and dropped out of college. Having lost hope he could make a large change in the healthcare system, Otto bought a one-way ticket to Costa Rica in search of personal growth. He backpacked around the Central and South America writing poetry, ending up in Peru where he sat in ceremony with the Shapibo Shaman and his life mission was unveiled; facilitate healing medicine through hip-hop music. Now residing in Los Angeles, Ottomatick is on his mission to create a new fascet of healing hip-hop that is tuned to 432Hz and harmonically aligned with the planet and humanity.
