On 20th January 2023, REEL PEOPLE release the wonderful FOUK remixes of I NEVER KNEW.

I NEVER KNEW was originally released back in 2020 as part of the bands four-track EP,   DANCING ON THE MOON and featured fizzing bars courtesy of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT’S frontman SPEECH. The single is also part of the new REEL PEOPLE album, LOVE2 dropping on 24th March 2023.

Childhood friends DANIEL LESEMAN & HANS PEEMAN aka FOUK have been delighting dancefloors since 2014 with a house sound infused with disco and a lot of funk and groove.
FOUK have an incredible roster of original tracks and remixes having worked with labels such as HEIST RECORDINGS, RAZOR-N-TAPE, LOCAL TALK, BOOGIE ANGST & Z RECORDS.

On the 29th September, Reel People Music release their latest soulful tonic for 2023 with a meeting of minds and creativity by Martin ‘Atjazz’ Iveson & Shea Soul.

The result is ‘Home‘, a single showing off their prowess for collaboration, musicality and inventive dancefloor grooves.

From his misspent youth skateboarding through the small-towns of Northeast England to running a successful independent record label, in-between producing and remixing for a wealth of talent around the world, Martin “Atjazz” Iveson has become synonymous with the highest levels of style, production and innovation in the independent music scene. Fans will recognise that the Atjazz sound is very personal and he puts a part of himself into every track he produces or remixes. 

People always ask Shea Soul when it was that she first started singing, but the truth is, she can't remember ever not singing. The passion began long before she could even explain what it was, and the dreams of sharing her voice with the world were always there. 

Now after years of learning and experience, Shea has worked with the likes of Toddla T, Basement Jaxx, Bugs in the Attic, Zed Bias, Calvin Harris, Example, and Shy FX to name a few. Writing and featuring on hit club tracks such as 'Make it Funky For Me' with Attacca Pesante, and 'Perfectly' with the Layabouts, music has paved a colourful journey for Shea. She's performed to thousands of people singing worldwide at festivals and stages covering Japan, South Africa, and Europe including the preeminent London Wembley Arena, and Hamburg's famous Mojo Club, and her writing and vocals have featured on released singles globally.

Yours truly first became familiar with House Gospel Choir during the pandemic when they regularly streamed rousing renditions of house classics. As for Crackazat, he's been infiltrating my house chart lately with original productions that incorporate a sizable portion of both jazz and soul. Next up though, he's taken on the newest vocal magic from House Gospel Choir and given it his signature touch of infectious piano chords which is a match made made in house heaven. 

Fittingly, it's titled, "Angels" and we proudly present you with the premiere of this lovely remix which along with the original cut is due out on October 26th.

RNT welcomes Cody Currie back to the catalog with an extended EP of soulful and jazzy original sounds. A project that’s been in the works since his label debut back in 2017, the “Cody Currie EP” is a refined statement of the rising star producer’s UK-jazz and club roots, both danceable and introspective. Enlisting a talented roster of collaborators, such as vocalists Stee Downes, RNT mainstay Cor.ece, and newcomer Marlena Dae as well as instrumentalists Mikeal and Ally McMahon, each track is like a little world of its own in the universe of Cody’s vast musical aesthetic. To round out the EP we have a stellar remix from European deep house royalty Vincenzo, who shows that his production tools are still sharp as ever.
