Smooth N Groove are pleased to welcome Dash to the fold with his debut release on the imprint. Based out of Nottingham, UK, Dash has been making a lot of noise across the scene with his infectious and versatile production styles. Quickly establishing a solid fanbase and support from some of dnb's heavy hitters, he is undoubtably one of the best up and coming producers in the scene. His recent popularity has seen him release his productions on Soul Deep, Default and also including remixes and forthcoming collaborations with Smooth N Groove regulars A.K.A, Payback and Blade.

The 'Dangerous Minds' LP features 12 solid cuts of his latest and possibly best works to date! Jam packed with high energy dance-floor tear outs and nods to 90's rave culture. Dash delivers arguably our most highly awaited and anticipated releases of 2022.

To set the scene of whats to come two of the tracks from the LP 'Solar Energy' and 'Make Ya Feel Good' will be released November 13th, and will be available to purchase exclusively from the Smooth N Groove Bandcamp. The full release is locked and ready to drop November 22nd.

Throughout 2024, I'll be releasing mixes from the comfort of my home and from the warmth of my heart, exploring various genres, stories and spontaneity. 

This UKG set was fun to explore. I've played one live UKG set at Sin+Tax in 2023, prior to that I played for a group of friends at my sister's birthday. Beyond that, this genre reminds me of walks in and throughout buzzing Brixton- where I resided on my travels to the UK (party exploring, of course).

As with any mix, this is not perfect, but I am happy to get you as the listener paying attention to the details and technicality of the mix. It is challenging to comprehend how complex the snares and hats swing, beat matching with precision has nothing on these dirty drum loops! What do you think about UKG?
