A stone thrown, just to watch it fly. A projectile launched for the sole purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky.
The Solens arc is what remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined by gravity, impulse and starting angle. No target to hit, no catharsis to wait for, just the beauty of the flight.

The Arc as the purpose, in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated melodic textures and dismantled beats. Each sequences are assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy.

Pointillist serial loops morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. Industrial techno stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios.

Solens Arc is Kangding Ray’s fourth Album for raster-noton.

Electro Live Set - Tbilisi, TES Club

It's a special weekend edition of GF with Alpha Sect. Hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, Alpha Sect is a project by George McCall, which is focused on breaking electro patterns and pumping body music with serious punk influences. We witnessed a killer live performance at Intergalactic FM festival this year which left us speechless. He started his music career as a guitarist in the post-metal band Sleepstream with 2 albums on their track record and he is an active musician with participations in physical theatre performances with his side-project. He's released on a long list of labels such as OSM Tapes, Soil, MSQ, Pildoras Tapes and others. This fall, his second vinyl EP will be released on Violena Viola with remixes from The Hacker and Mick Willis & Blackmoon77. He provides a pumping selection balancing the outer edges of EBM and electro. Lock in!

Galactic Funk Podcast 129 - Alpha Sect

From the depths of an unnamed forest come the rhythmic rumblings of Oreste, and his forthcoming long player from the ever incredible Annulled Music imprint. Ranging through a variety of textures, moods, field recordings and more, Oreste has shown his maturity as a producer and the sheer scope of soundscapes that he’s capable of creating. After having supported his music through our Sundays are for selections, we’re incredibly happy to premiere ‘Locus Form’ from Swelling Truth.

Starting with a steady, pulsating beat provides a foundation for the entirety of Locus Form. The beats are deliberate, with a hint of tension, creating a sense of forward movement. The rhythmic pattern might be reminiscent of a heartbeat or the ebb and flow of water, reinforcing the hypnotic quality of the music. On top of this structure, the saw-like synth is steady in its presence providing a growling energy just sitting below the surface.

Locus Form and the rest of Swelling Truth will be released on the 3rd of November by Annulled Music.

DEMENT3D Records presents: Ligovskoï - Mana EP and Remixes - DM3D016

Mana is the second EP by Ligovskoï, the most poetic and abstract band here at DEMENT3D.

The duo, between Bruxelles and Paris, has come up with five new pieces, bringing their craft to a whole new level. Their condensed and moving soundscapes are now heightened by narrative compositions and constructions. Their music is still mysterious and unsettling by essence ; and there is now something of a paradox between a kind of wary decency that definenes their attitude - where melodies and rhythm patterns are concealed in a vast arrangement of deep frequencies - and on the other hand, how they have now managed to now perform as musicians and express some impredictable energy and interpretation in their works. A very elegant way of installing an incarnated and personal dimension in their music, that complements the classic intimacy and deepness of their ambient / drone etiquette.

The record here, much like Ligovskoï’s previous project “Dilip” is associated with remixes - which makes it a double EP. The originals by the duo are found on sides A and B of a white, opaque vinyl, and the remixes on sides C and D of a classic black 12”. 
Abdulla Rashim honours us with a third remix for the label and  we are also proud to welcome Peder Mannerfelt in our remixers roster
