Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: Don’t be ageist. Life is made of lived experiences, many of those shared. There is always value to be contributed by younger and older folx. School and be schooled. Also, stay true to the culture of electronic and underground music. Doing something out of character to further your career in the name of money and fame is disrespectful to our culture. Some of us have lived this culture 24/7 for decades; it has saved our lives, and provided positive coping mechanisms when there were none. Always be real and stay grounded.
