For their new release PULZARVA002 the Berlin record label PULZAR Recordings (@p-u-l-z-a-r) is cooking up a various artists fundraiser double compilation. Curated nicely with international artists the first part of the release (002.1) features Techno music while the second part of the compilation (002.2) contains Trance music.

The money will be donated to the K41 Community Fund (https://k41community.fund). K41 is a prominent Techno club in Kyiv that offers shelter and support for Ukrainians in general and creatives in particular.

A record release party will take place at the Berlin club “Zur Klappe” on July 22nd (https://ra.co/events/1730014).

The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Onurcan Kaya with his take on ‘Massive’ by Drake. The Turkish artist first emerged in 2021 with a release via 4or Records, a release which would make him a name to watch in the world of melodic house and techno. The next two calendar years would see Onurcan add Astral Records, Melodic Room and VTOPIΛ to his resume, in turn earning support from Fideles, Kevin de Vries, Øostil and Tale Of Us, among others. Also an accomplished DJ, Onurcan has been a fixture of his country’s nightlife of late, programming music for some of Turkey’s trendiest venues. A recent highlight of Onurcan’s sets has been his much requested rendition of Drake’s ‘Massive’. As the second single from the Canadian hiphoper’s 2022 album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, the track would go on to achieve critical and commercial success, ultimately peaking at #2 in the UK dance charts and #11 on Billboard’s Electronica Hot Dance. With Onurcan’s remix of the track already receiving play from Agents of Time, Armin Van Burren, Fideles, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and more, we’re pleased to offer it as an exclusive free download. It’s wild how something you love so much can also make you feel so unsure of yourself. Making music is one of the most fulfilling things in my life, but at the same time, it can bring out a lot of doubt. One moment you’re excited about an idea, and the next you’re second-guessing everything. But when it finally clicks, when it’s exactly where you want it to be, it’s the most rewarding feeling.

I’ve come to realize that those doubts are just part of the creative process. Sometimes they show up out of nowhere and mess with your head for a bit. It doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong, it just means it’s time to take a step back, take a deep breath, and appreciate how far you’ve already come.
