Techno sets

Today is a great day. I am pleased to show the first double set of the Godinbols Friends Meeting guest series. I have the honor to share this event with the beautiful and great DJ Natii-Lee from Charlotte (USA). 2 hours of authentic melodic techno & progressive house. 

The first hour (1h. 4 min.) Godinbols takes the controls of the dj booth heating up the atmosphere to make way for our dear friend Natii-Lee who gives the final climax to this fantastic friends meeting.

Growing up in the 80's, Godinbols spent hours and hours listening to opera and classical music records from his parents. But before this and even being able to read, he was eager to play melodies with his toy piano and guitar. Going through the new wave phase and now, at a much later age, very much influenced by the melodic & progressive techno.

Nathalie Field ( just married April 6th), aka DJ Natii-Lee, has exploded onto the Charlotte, NC scene over the past couple of years. Since childhood, music has been a huge part of her life, but her true passion lies with electronic music; specifically techno, trance, and house. Her talent has already been recognized overseas by the likes of Beenoise Records as an International Guest DJ on Beenoise Attack, as well as winning the Gulf Coast DJ Connection 4th of July Remix Contest and featuring several times on the Element Lounge podcast. With many live performances already under her belt and more to come, the sky is the limit!

As summer is coming to an end, we are preparing for the darker months in which we thrive well. For this occasion we have the pleasure to welcome Polish artist Blazej Malinowski, a respected DJ, producer, and live performer in the deep realm of ambient and hypnotic techno who has made a name for himself over the last couple of years. His signature - bassline orientated - sound has given him the chance to release his music on labels such as Semantica, The Gods Planet, Silent Season, and his own label Inner Tension which he launched earlier this year. Blazej contribution doesn’t stop there, as he is also the founder of Why So Silent? a series of events where artists and listeners can experience experimental and ambient orientated music.

In this mix, Blazej goes all out and shows a harder side of his artistic self, where the driving low end is accompanied by mind-bending sound design. The perfect combination to get lost and wander yourself in the place we all love.

Rafał, better known by his stage name Rafa'EL, is a Polish DJ and music producer, founder of @musicnorthernlights An artist, who has always been closely linked to electronic music, developing his musical taste and polishing it since 2008, is now setting his productions on a very deep sounding level. The styles he plays are heavily associated with Deep house, Progressive, and Tribal. You can listen to Rafael’s music in a number of radio stations, e.g. on @proton (where he hosts a show called Infusion), on Friskyradio, and even on Argentinian FM BLUE 105.3 FM. His music enables him to show his soul and express his true personality. After several years of techno abstinence, Sarah rediscovered the sound for herself in 2019 and immediately caught fire. Through acquaintances with DJs of the Hamburg techno and house scene, she was able to collect impressions from the other side of the dance floor and knew immediately: thats it!
Sarah was already very affine to music as a child, listening to the music of her father and big brother. From heavy metal to brit pop to industrial techno, what touched and created a mood was absorbed by her. Growing up in the MTV generation, fascinated by the vibes of the Berlin Love Parade, Sarah found a way to implement her own musical creativity. Starting with harder techno, she finally found her style in melodic ethereal sounds with a progressive touch, but still driving and bassy. Sarah loves to create an atmosphere in her sets, to take the listener on an unforgettable journey. The boundaries between melodic techno, indie dance, progressive and techhouse blur into a sea of melodies and driving beats.
