When I was asked to contribute a mix to this series I immediately thought of creating a selection straight out of my younger indie mind that shaped my overall taste in music and still finds its place in the sound and sets that I play. But there are also some recently discovered house and electro tracks that give me goosebumps over and over again. The final result is a little journey through my inner world with a very personal touch, ending with one of my absolute favorite hits from the 90s, which I used to sing along to in my mother's car when I was a little girl.

2023's ACF friday closing set was the chance to showcase a bigger picture of my rhythmic palette to the audience. This was the perfect point in time and space to create our sonic journey under the sunset, starting off with melodic breakbeats that dipped into funkier and dirtier beats before errupting into raw tribalistic house with an infusion of latin body grooves.
I love to translate the rhythmic patterns of dance music among different styles and highlight the familiarities between genres such as breaks, house, and techno - and their different cultural flavours from club cultures around the world! 
Later in the set, this energy is further transduced into more psychedelic tones of trance before exploding into some heavy bass music bangers to top the vibe off. It's not easy to pull that diversity of genres off in one set but this crowd was all in for it and I loved them for it.
