The Ghetto
Fragment from a soundtrack of a Video art: 'Never say'. inspired by the Yiddish poem 'Zog nit kein mol' : זאג ניט קיין מאל written by the Jewish Lithuanian partisan Hirsh Glick .

This piece includes voice testimonies of the Jewish poets and underground warriors from Vilna Ghetto: Aba Kovner and Avraham Sutzkever.

The original recording with Kovner was taken during the Eichmann trial.
Used here with the permission and thanks to his son Michael Kovner.

The Ghetto

Made after the second stanza of Hirsh Glick's Partisans poem 'Never Say' זאג ניט קיין מאל and fragments from a proclamation written in Ghetto Vilna, Lithuania (1940) by Jewish partisans. Before renewed Nazi transportations to mass executions.
