I was thankful for having two fantastic personalities to interview on the first episode. Both Ray Nitti and Je'Love have become staples in the musical art scene here in Milwaukee. Interviewing them was a dream come true!

Diving deeper into her thoughts on professionalism and her favorite parts of music was insightful to understanding her artistic character.  Super cool to have a star in my interview seat! Her final message to listeners of our convo was to "Keep it consistent." An uplifting answer to my closing question, "What advice do you have for a new artist?"

At about the half way mark i was exuberated to welcome Rayhainio Boynes aka Ray Nitti to the show. We talked about one of his favorite memories his art provided for him, which was a tour he took across seas to perform for our troops.

Paul Smith & Andy Jehly were my guests live via Zoom on this week's socially distanced edition of Sessions with Sandy, my weekly live music and interview program on Riverwest Radio WXRW 104.1 FM.  Paul & Andy bring harmony, humor, and laid-back style to favorite songs from the past, ranging from folk and blues to Motown and psychedelic rock as well as traditional songs and some originals. 

Paul and Andy come from very different musical backgrounds, but share a passion for music with history, great harmonies, and evocative lyrics.  Both multi-instrumentalists, they incorporate guitar, dobro, bass, and the one-of-a-kind gourdalele into their music.  We talked with Paul and Andy about their musical backgrounds and how the pandemic has affected their musical lives.  They played two of their originals live for us. Enjoy!
