I was thankful for having two fantastic personalities to interview on the first episode. Both Ray Nitti and Je'Love have become staples in the musical art scene here in Milwaukee. Interviewing them was a dream come true!

Diving deeper into her thoughts on professionalism and her favorite parts of music was insightful to understanding her artistic character.  Super cool to have a star in my interview seat! Her final message to listeners of our convo was to "Keep it consistent." An uplifting answer to my closing question, "What advice do you have for a new artist?"

At about the half way mark i was exuberated to welcome Rayhainio Boynes aka Ray Nitti to the show. We talked about one of his favorite memories his art provided for him, which was a tour he took across seas to perform for our troops.

We talk with Jacquelyn Kovarik, Communications Director for the Voces de la Frontera Essential Workers Rights Network. Strauss Brands, a meat-packing plant in Franklin, laid off 28 workers on July 28 after they organized for protection from the unsafe plant conditions which have been spreading Covid-19. We talk for most of the show about the circumstances of that action, and workers’ demands, then Voces’ get out the vote work. Then we talk briefly about the eviction crisis, and Thursday night’s abruptly ended Lanterns for Peace event. And the return of the military spending billboard (with noon event Saturday the 8th).
