Went back to the basics to when I first heard Kendrick (Mid 2011). The Rhodes in the Section.80 album is beautiful, and though impossible to emulate, created my own simple Rhodes progression as a homage.

Was crazy busy as I had car issues. Was struggling with this beat and running out of time. Felt there was a disconnect between the verse ending and hook coming back in (the second transition). Had a private track originally that was unfinished. Thank you to K.O.D.B Productions for giving me feedback on that beat and helping inspire me. Threw this together last minute after work (Tuesday night). Hope it feels smoother and is enjoyed!
