Old Charley Campian was born in Liverpool,England and left home at an early age and joined the Merchant Marine.He criss crossed the World's Oceans and visited many obscure Ports.

Never marrying he always felt he had a wandering existence and not one to inflict on a family.

Of course many people entered his life and he recently commented he had `fallen in Love with all of them'.

In his lonely days on watch on board ship he composed and wrote sea shanties and he taught himself the key board.

On the tempestuous shore leaves he first played and sang to entertain friends and strangers alike.

Charley feels his true love of Music shines through to his audience and links them to the many places he has visited.
