I believe I am the only person to have seen this show in every incarnation, and in every city it played in - 13 in all - so I suppose you’ll have to believe me when I say that there was really NOTHING original in the American production. Nothing whatsoever. The trajectory and ultimate demise of this show broke my heart and left a void that can never be filled. Moreover, it saddens me beyond belief that none of the original cast [save for Kholby of course] were invited to audition for the latter production, nor asked to participate in the recently released recording - even for background vocals!)
1:07:00 - Constance Monologue/Sugar Cloud - Kelly Hudson - (The only song that didn't have sheet music. K-Hud brought the house down EVERY night and shows why she is the best of the best. A Tony caliber performance had things gone the way they could have. Or rather, should have - but what would I know, I just drove the set around & across Canada on multiple occasions.)
