The upcoming release of The Strobez will be merging swampy Blues with sweaty Rock and an occasional pinch of Art Rock.

It will tell a story that needs to be told, on a record that needed to be made. Organic and real, like the musicians themselves. Expect groove, expect energy, expect earthy improvisations and solos, above all expect authenticity.

The Strobez are three very close friends that have been playing together in various outfits, on thousands of gigs. Only to get back together as a trio to do what they love; playing their hearts out, writing their songs and telling their story. The bond between the musicians is strong and tested by time, just like the music they play and how they play it.

Drummer Marko Klotz: “On this release my Ludwig Supraphonic is tuned to an extra low pitch to deliver that punch and the kick will be a 24“, just like you would expect“. After all, having worked together since 2006, the trio knows how to get the sound that let´s the story come alive.

Like singer and guitarist Michael Strobel says: “It has to be real, you have to feel it. You have to want to touch it.“ Then he plugs in his Les Paul and lets the playing speak for itself. That´s the way this Powertrio likes it the most, less talk, more action.
