Electronic duo MATHAME are to kick off a four part remix release with their own unique take on 'Breath' by Italian pianist and composer Alessandro Martire. The dreamy and descriptive atmospheres of the original tracks receive new lifeblood from these remixers who all transform the sounds. In Mathame's more electronic remix, Martire's melodies sometimes remain recognisable, other times they blend into the visionary operations of the DJs. 

Say the pair, "We put our emotional touch to the original record transferring the feeling it gave us from the first listen. An almost ethereal emotion but with movement and groove, we had this image: how to stand in front of luminous cables of some kind of material that stretch and relax and vibrate together, almost breathing, like a body."

Agents Of Time return to Afterlife with two heartrending audio expeditions.
Italian act Agents Of Time have established a sterling reputation over the years. Their mesmerising approach to club music blends emotive melodies and transcendent rhythms, with dance floor-centred beats.
The Mirage EP begins with its title cut; enveloping the listener is a swathe of atmospheric synth and pad work from the off. Oscillating frequencies complement the sultry rhythms while a life-affirming riff forms the stirring centrepiece. 
On the flip ‘Northern Lights’ is a sensitive, emotive composition
which gradually increases its emotional impact as it builds and evolves.

The Boston-based artist ushers in his two-track EP through a synergetic collaboration with one of Afro House’s most compelling vocalists and gifted musicians. Vitalized by Stevo Atambire’s affective Frafra vocals, ‘Anchor Point’ is a gratifying calibration and an immersion into the deep combers of house - rife with dynamic Afro rhythms, permeating strings and eloquent vocal gradients. ‘Waves & wavs’ concludes the saga - powered by robust percussion and the sorcery of Lizwi’s soul-nourishing balladry. Driven by climactic progressions, euphoric melodies and transcendent Moroccan sounds, this harmonic litany interlaces lucid electronic pulses with elemental acoustics to perpetuate a pensive dancefloor meditation.

What is Alegria? Alegria is joy, cheerfulness or sunshine. How do you describe that in music? One idea would be to get Aryme and Osfur together and let them create a track that encompasses it: Latin vocals, swinging melodies and strong basslines combined with the touch of the two Paris-based producers. The most ID’d track of the past months will finally see the light of day on the 1st of September!

Following on from his Anjunadeep Explorations debut last summer, emerging German DJ/producer Ben Böhmer returns to the label for his first solo outing with a trio of melodic weapons on ‘Morning Falls EP’. The EP opens with the rolling melodies of ‘Morning Falls’ before drifting into peak time club cut ‘After Earth’. After appearing for the first time on Odd Echoes 4, Moonwalk the Milan-based DJs and producers present us their debut EP on the label, a three original melodic and energetic cuts, with a fantastic and powerful remix by the Italian duo Undercatt.

The Neapolitan duo, Dario and Mauro, start the EP with the lead track ¨Solaris¨ a rolling and grooving cut, with a haunting and catchy melody that stays in your mind right away.

On the remix duties we have another Italian duo, Undercatt. They approach the rework with their characteristic elements and sound design, turning the version into a deeper and melodic cut.

To continue with the EP, we have ¨Enigma¨, which aims more to dance floor peak time, with elements of Indie Disco influenced percussions. On the same vibe to close the pack we have ¨Delta¨, where you can also recognize the duo’s signature sound.
