In the lands of a far distant future, a novel pharmaceutical allowed its patients to delve into the knowledge of their ancestors, watching the events of their lives as a silent observer to the collective memory that all held within. In the primal lands that lay under the cold embrace of a black sun, three wolves set out for new hunting grounds across the frigid north.

In each & every dimension, these linked souls each sought the treasure of knowledge lost, held in stasis by its isolation and eagerly awaiting its rediscovery. The mystical draw of such knowledge was constant, its tendrils of influence stretching beyond planar boundaries as it spurred those who heard its call to new feats of heroism.
