After recording a particularly melancholy electric piano jam, David reached out to fellow Pacific Northwest artists, Denim Protege and Ezra Stanfield, seeking to create a multimedia art piece. After picking out his favorite parts of the solitary improvisation, the skeleton of this EP was in place.

Denim got to work creating lush vocals to fill the space left open by the minimal beat, pulling inspiration from the titles of each movement. Their lyrics are full of contrast; from sobering vivid descriptions to abstract scenes giving the listener a disorientingly entertaining guide through the auditory spaces in this EP.

Ezra took rough tracks and created a visual experience reflecting the tone he interpreted from the beats provided. The world he built around this piece portrays a depiction of both literal and figurative experiences of the individual it centers on, mirroring the framework of the lyrical content.
