But before they can even get a word in, it's large speakerphone eyes lock onto them.

Once a major player in his dark world, communications expert and used to receive and send signals for the Lightners, his station sits alone in the center of the city, abandoned by all but him. 

His fight uses the Purple Soul mechanic, and he is unable to speak with his own voice- all of his lines are cut awkwardly from every other spoken line in the game. This also includes soundbytes and voice clips. 

He longs to reconnect with the one who took his voice from him, and carry his dark world with him to freedom... At any cost. His people... WILL, go free. And he'll set you free too.

The music is as is, as even during the fight he is desperate to find that signal that took it all from him.

After reaching the highest floor of Cathode Co., the Fun Gang finds Mike and Tenna arguing about if they should force the team to stay in the Dark World for more content. At this point, Tenna has changed, building a friendly relationship with Kris and their friends. But Mike has other plans. He's always had other plans. So he takes advantage of Tenna's core feature - Tenna is, and will always be, a robot. You can simply reset his memory, and you'll get an invincible, obedient vessel that can do what you want with its incredible strength.
To top things off, Toriel is witnessing all of this, and she's forced to watch Kris and their friends fighting for their lives as Mike and the now zombified Tenna try to exploit them for content for what might be the last time.
To defeat Mike, you'll have to take advantage of the fact that this show is being shown to a live audience, and try as hard as you can to make the ratings of the public go towards YOUR team instead of Mike's. That, mixed with the power of your fighting endurance, is the only way to get out of this situation. To put it simply...
You might have to play along.
