"A chair is like a podium at the dinner table – it serves as people’s place to converse and exchange ideas as they eat. Through this project, I wanted to honour the unspoken reasonings behind spoken words. The visualization of the woven tapestry physically represents subliminal emotions. Layers and layers of time and encounters have shaped us, have shaped how you see yourself. I believe we can bring so much compassion towards each other when we listen to the wordless context behind each person."
