Prodigy Gold (ASX:PRX) has already made a name for itself in the Northern Territory, with a strong asset base in the proven multimillion ounce Tanami Gold district. 

While it holds a number of highly-prospective 100%-owned assets in its portfolio, Prodigy has also secured the interest of prominent JV partners, including Independence Group and Newcrest, and that continued this week with the signing of a $14.5 million dollar JV deal with Newmont GoldCorp for its Tobruk Project.

Prodigy Managing Director Matt Briggs joined Investor Stream to discuss the importance of the latest JV deal, and to outline what he believes is driving renewed interest from the majors in the Tanami.
