Beauty Killed the Beast (BKTB) is a Regina-based alternative band.

BKTB represents an alternative, “crossover” style of music that is currently missing from the Saskatchewan music scene.  BKTB’s sound evolved from our own cross-genre listening preferences and influences.  Our approach is to incorporate our diverse influences – pop, punk and rock music – and seamlessly blend them together to create a sound that is original and accessible to a broader audience, while staying true to traditional genre elements.  Our sound focuses on layering the attitude and upbeat tempos of classic punk music with the melody-driven, lyrical elements of pop music and the strong instrumentation of rock music.
