Oy... if this kind of narrative gets people with postgrad degrees on team MMT, great, all for it. Just wish they wouldn't pick fights and create mini-boogeymen - "red-brown", Krystal fucking Ball being beyond the pale🤦‍♂️- out of allies on the Left seemingly because they don't speak in an idiom in which sentences like "taxing Whiteness to make space for Blackness" make self-evident sense. A little interpretive charity here would go a long way. And sure, taxing money away from the rich *to pay for* public wealth or increasing the wealth of the poor isn't strictly accurate; but on a deeper level there is truth to it, since it would necessarily involve a relative reduction in power for the wealthy regardless of whether they are taxed to "pay for" increasing the relative power of the poor. If for no other reasons, then for the reasons laid out in "Political Aspects of Full Employment."
