Darkest Night

I have been playing guitar for 35 years and have played with many different styles of bands from Metal, Jazz and Alternative Rock to Country and Celtic Rock. I started in the 80's Metal club scene and moved on to touring Country bands in the 90's. Since then I have become a "hired gun", and recorded guitar on several groups albums as well as filling in for gigging groups that need a last minute fill-in. The last steady group that I joined was the Celtic Rock group Kilmaine Saints(see links}. We recorded their first album together "The Good, The Plaid, The Ugly" and toured the East Coast. Unfortunately I had to leave that group due to my occupation scheduling conflicts. 
I then decided to get more serious about photography, which has always been a passion of mine besides guitar(see links for my photography page). 
I still fill in with groups that need coverage and I enjoy backing up my wife who is a vocalist. 
I am a Marshall amp and Fender Guitar guy but I keep all the tools required to fill a specific style. I also continue to teach guitar lessons on a limited basis.
The instrumental guitar songs currently on this page were recorded mainly as examples to my students for various techniques that I was teaching them.
I currently write the soundtracks for historical exploration content on my Youtube channel(Running Into History).
