Always imaginative song writing, this time from a lunar perspective.  We could blow ourselves to bits and the moon wouldn't care.  Nor does it care about words we can't retrieve when we come to our senses.  Superb song writing in this winter effort while we in the northern latitudes are simmering...but what does the moon care?;)

so poetic Jim, and I'm envious about that first bit in your description, cause it would take me forever to write anything close to this. A funny thing about this concept is that I sometimes loop up at the moon, or even the stars, and for some reason if I'm down or depressed imagining some future disaster down here... it somehow comforts me to see that at least the moon and stars are still up there. Anyway, I'm oversimplifying but its somehow also comforting to know that I'm not the only one! cheers mate.

a song about Australia my home ……a little piano improv at the end with some bush sounds I recorded and the phenomenal playing of native instruments by the elders..........these are the sounds I remember as a young fella, having just immigrated from Belfast  Northern Ireland during the “troubles”  in 1980,  swapping petrol bombings and the sound  of patrolling army boots for the  song of the lyrebird and the scent of the bush is something I’ve not forgotten ,  so I’ve tried to capture that feeling a bit here……….cheers and peace for listening
