FL Minimal Trance Synth-Dubstep-Chillstep FX Remix 2022

I created the first part while watching the Winter Olympics. I was inspired by the grit of the athletes. I wrote the rest during Hope Week, a week dedicated to mental health and suicide prevention.

NOTES:
Once upon a Saturday night, I watched some Irish dude translate the first couple stanzas of "The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock." I can't compete with that, so instead I wrote this song based on that poem.

Also, this song was really, really hard to play. The bridge and nut on my acoustic guitar are both kind of cracking and the action is super high. So it was like a balancing act of "will my G and E strings stay ringing for the rest of this take?"

This is probably the last song I'll record with my current acoustic. Because shortly after this take the bridge went all crumbly like feta cheese. Now, I guess I will play exclusively electric. Oops.

Title is a quote from season one by hopper…..contest entry for ipad musician’s stranger things app giveaway. Made in korg gadget using 25 gadgets no external sounds or samples. I'm uploading a video that solos out the synths and sound fx.
Apps used: Korg Gadget, Mixbox inside lumafusion and glitche for vhs visuals. In mixbox I used the limiter through tape cassette fx and finally through a compressor.
