Appassionata Strings & Oboe V4

It is the second act of an uncoiling Shakespearean tragedy with the return of all the bad actors; the corrupt courtiers, the feckless sons and whorish handmaids, the ambitious assassins, the smug black robed judges and boot licking lawyers, the drooling oligarchs, the sycophant politicians and slimy religious zealots, all eager to have their way with the women and the daughters who cannot appeal to justice because justice is vanquished. No checks, no balance. 

The final act portends banishment and deportation, violence and failed foreign alliances, right wing retribution, final solutions and the mad king’s revenge. It is all tear stained and blood drenched in irony as the authors and audience of this particular tragedy are the people themselves.

I've been on this kick lately posting short isolated tracks of previously uploaded full songs, just to highlight certain parts. In this one, it's an isolated section of the vocal track & harmonies, with a bit of percussion. The idea for this song came to me randomly while driving down some backroad a few years back, and I recorded the initial idea spur of the moment. For whatever reason, the rather morbid theme came out in the process and I just went with it. Nat is a daring soul and surprisingly encouraged that we record it and with her considerable help we fashioned this recording. Notable is that Nat has taken on the ability to add some beautiful pedal steel guitar throughout the song using her well established keyboard skills and this first run at it was very satisfying. Let us know what you think!

Hello! Iam an amateur singer/songwriter with a lot of passion for singing and Music.  I mostly sing originals,  but also covers . I like to write lyrics with meaning, something people can relate to. Not necessaraly my own experiences, it can be something i heard, seen or something someone  told me.
I also make music in GarageBand with small loops I put together.
