Background: 

Shah Hussain 🇵🇰  - کلام: شاہ حسین. He was a 16th-century Muslim Sufi poet who is regarded as a pioneer of the Kafi form of Punjabi poetry. The term “Punj-ab” refers to the  peoples of five rivers, namely Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutle. Punj literally means "five" and "ab" means water in Persian and Urdu language. Poet Shah lived during the ruling periods of Mughal emperors Akbar and his son Jahangir. The vocalists on this track are Pakistani Qawwals 🇵🇰 رضوان ـ معظم علی خان.
