Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation who arose out of sea foam on the coast of Cyprus. Therefore she is also known under the name Cypris, her Roman equivalent is the goddess Venus and she is also identified with the Ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor. Myrtle, doves, sparrows, horses, and swans were said to be sacred to her. 
Her father Zeus fears that because of Aphrodite's beauty other gods will become rivals to possess her. Therefore he marries her off to the god of smithing Hephaestus, who is overjoyed to be married to the goddess of beauty. He manifactures her stunning jewelry that make her even more irresistible to others.
As one of the Twelve Olympians of the Greek pantheon and thus a major deity, worship of Aphrodite, (or Aphrodíti), as a living goddess is one of the more prominent devotionals in Hellenismos (Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionism)the revival of ancient Greek religious practices in the present day.
This set is a recording from a nice outdoor party by Sound Elements Productions near Nikosia in April 2016 where i played a set into sunrise.

Long ago all the elements were mixed together with one germ of life. This germ began to mix things around and around until the heavier part sank and the lighter part rose. A muddy sea that covered the entire earth was created. From this ocean grew a green shoot. It grew and grew until it reached the clouds and there it was transformed into a god. Soon this god grew lonely and it began to create other gods. The last two gods it made, Izanagi and Izanami, were the most remarkable. One day they looked down on the ocean and wondered what was beneath it. Izanagi thrust his stick into the waters and as he pulled it back up some clumps of mud fell back into the sea. They began to harden and grow until they became the islands of Japan.

Kami or shin is defined in English as "god", "spirit", "spiritual essence" and refers to the divinity, or sacred essence, that manifests in multiple forms. Rocks, trees, rivers, animals, places, and even people can be said to possess the nature of kami. Kami and people exist within the same world and share its interrelated complexity. Kami refers particularly to the power of phenomena that inspire a sense of wonder and awe in the beholder (the sacred), testifying to the divinity of such a phenomenon. 
There are natural places considered to have an unusually sacred spirit about them, and are objects of worship. They are frequently mountains, trees, unusual rocks, rivers, waterfalls, and other natural things. In most cases they are on or near a shrine grounds. It is a sacred space, creating a separation from the "ordinary" world.


This mix was recorded in November 2016 at Jaai club in Osaka during a Sangoma party organized by my friend Eiichi (Dj BuzZ). It resembles the raw and crazy dancefloor energy in the rather small but packed club of a memorable night. My love and gratitude to the vibrant Japanese scene which for sure know how to party and spread good vibes and are an enrichment for every festival! Arigato

I’m not a robot – I’m a nobot
Sometimes it’s quite funky to be a nobot. No robot no fun you’d say. But that’s only half the story. There’s a huge evergrowing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the Ultraworld, directly connected to Nobots DAW – if USB is working. To ensure that noises beyond the major consensus narrative will be merged into relatively non-linear structures. And that’s where the fun starts.

In 2014 two guys wanted to get back to where they once belonged. There’s Oli/Brainshaker – party organizer and spinning the wheels of steel since decades – as well as Martin/Z-Neo ex Naked Tourist and producing various electronic music for a while.

During the journey to the other side they rediscovered their need for kinky dark psychotic structures and sounds. The Nobot PC home computer system was instantly surrounded by massive analogue madness, some black/white keys, knobs making strange noises, grumbling modular systems as well as some digital jukeboxes. Midi and CV/Gate are Nobots friends. Cybertechnologies like the world wide web are used as an infinite sample source. Whenever there is a dumb thoughtless sentence, Nobot switches into recording mode.

After 9 years it’s such a bliss to be back on the most lovely family label called Parvati-Records.

Next up on Insomnia Records series is Greek producer, KAOS, who has released his long-awaited first album “Students Of Anthropology” in February.

Dimitris Papapavlos aka Kaos is a psychedelic trance music producer born in Greece.Motivated and inspired by the psychedelic trance parties and culture sincethe middle 90’s,he started exploring the world of computer music in 2004.His first track as Kaos was released in 2008 by Goanmantra records. In 2012 Goanmantra records released a collaboration album of Kaos and Stranger “Strange Kaos – Above the World”, and in 2018 Insomnia records released the first solo album of Kaos ” Students of Anthropology”.More of the music labels featuring Kaos tracks are :Discovalley rec., Parvati rec., Agartha rec., Omveda rec., Temple Twister rec., Seraaphaana rec., Alice-D rec. and others.Kaos appears also in collaborations with artists like Stranger (as Strange Kaos),Polyphonia (as Polykaos) and more.

Ordo Ab Chao is the DJ and composer aka Bassilis. Since the early 90's he discovered the psy trance scene by exploring the parties 
in his hometown Athens. When he decided to follow that path, he started DJing and organizing open air's in Greece. 
Since 2000 he started traveling around Asia, he visited Goa and Kho Phangan island and he crossed paths with other 
like-minded artists, DJs and travelers from all over the globe. 
Highly influenced by these experiences he expanded his horizons, enriched his creativity and finally imprinted all that by 
making his own music and Dj sets. "Regenerate" was his first release in 2011.
The same year he collaborated with Orestis, Petran, Dark Elf and Daoine Sidhe and they founded Sonic Loom Music. 
Since that he has compiled: V.A. Loomination, V.A. Immaterial World, V.A. Alchemic Recipe, V.A. Up Psy Down and is constantly working on the upcoming psy trance releases of the label.
