Julius is a Dutch DJ who lives in the northern part of Holland. He scrapes his vinyl off the internet and plays them for about 5 years now. The last few years his focus is more on the dubtechno genre. When yourelistening to his set you get your confirmation. He combines older and new records, longer and shorter tracks to keep his set interesting. We asked him to start off easy and finish his set like you are about going to party. We think he delivered, enjoy this podcast with much love from the land of the tulips.

Midgar is finally reaching the 10th release with MDG008, a rich ensemble of live jams, adapted to the vinyl format by ambient specialist Shaded Explorer. The record opens with the bleeping saucer Emerald Weapon, activating hyperspace mode as the sidereal ambiances take over in the middle of the track. Skyward follows up with thunderous kicks, adding consistency to the groove but keeping focus on windy atmospheres. The slow-builder Shaded Gems reset the pace on the Bside, where the italian artist fully express the solemnity of the machines. Underwood ends the record with natural textures: a sonic representation of Mother Nature waking up the forests using bright pads and perpetual chirping. Uncanny vibes in Naive's Reality, track which is perfectly resuming Shaded Explorer signature: evocative melodies and organic percussions. This last track will be released digitally with the record, in free download.

He is known for his hypnotic, ambient and deep techno sounds and has releases on labels such as Silent Season, Truth or Consequences, Weekend Circuit, Planet Rhythm and Edit Select Records. His next vinyl releases will be featured on other four great labels. He is often performing at events alongside international artists and his next performances include shows in Turin, Milan, Udine, Porto and Lisbon but right now it’s time to Feed The Raver. Enjoy!”

Bio: 
Born and raised in Italy, Alfredo Mazzilli, approaches the world of music very early. His first passion is the guitar but, with time, his penchant for electronic music becomes increasingly clear. Influenced by the likes of Donato Dozzy, Aphex Twin, Sandwell District, Dino Sabatini and Substance, he soon shows an extremely versatile nature, as well as his desire to experiment with different genres, not giving up, however, to a consistency that leads him to range in the vast musical landscape, while remaining true to his style that favors ambient techno and deep techno sounds.
