Moog Slim Phatty Polychain x3 Glide

Patch on waldorf quantum - direct sound recording, no external effects/processing.  3 waveform (VA) oscillators, mod wheel opens the filter + digital bandpass filter and brings in more delay.

Played through once with zero mod wheel, then again with full mod wheel.

Waldorf Quantum VA Stringy MW

Waldorf Quantum patch. Kernels beta oscillator using FM to give the distorted tone + waveform (VA) oscillator adding a saw sub oscillator. Onboard effects are chorus, reverb and some eq to knocking back the sub frequencies and top end. No external effects/processing.

Waldorf Quantum Strings Mod At2

This was an experiment using just a single sawtooth waveform/va oscillator and using the digital filter, single band of the eq effect and the two analog filters to pick out formant frequencies set by the sequencer parameter values, so each step of the sequencer has a different bank of 4 frequencies.

Bass using just a single kernels oscillator (in beta firmware). Uses 4 kernels/operators to give a lately bass kind of sound. Nothing else going on with it.

Single voice, but using the 3 oscillators to generate individual drum sounds (not samples) controlled via the sequencer.  Osc 1/kick is waveform/VA sine going into analog filter, osc2/snare  is waveform white noise going into digital filter, osc3/perc/hats is kernels (beta) oscillator doing fm going straight to VCA.

As it's just single voice, can have this on one layer, with a single key set to act as an on/off toggle, and have the other 7 voices available for whatever patch we want on layer 2.

Another variation of this:  Single voice, but using the 3 oscillators to generate individual drum sounds (not samples) controlled via the sequencer. Osc 1/kick is waveform/VA sine going into analog filter, osc2/snare is waveform white noite going into digital filter, osc3/perc/hats is kernels (beta) oscillator doing fm going straight to VCA.  This version has more modulation going on affecting osc3/fm/perc.

Waldorf Quantum Q Drum Synth2

Single waveform/VA oscillator sawtooth going into digital former in "drive" mode with model set to "pickup" and amount at 0.25, going into single "24db dirty" low pass analog filter.  Very slight random mod to filter cutoff, filter decay and drive amount. That's it.
