موسيقى مونامور من روائع الموسيقى العالمية، وهي موسيقى رائعة وعذبة ورقيقة، تتصف بالهدوء الذي ينساب إلى السمع بسلاسة مدهشة، وقد حظيت موسيقى مونامور بشهرةٍ واسعةٍ جداً، حتى أنها اعتبرت من روائع الموسيقى العالمية في القرن العشرين.

ألّف المقطوعة الموسيقية مونامور، الموسيقي الإسباني الشهير “جواكين رودريغو”، وقد ألفها في عام ألفٍ وتسعمئةٍ وتسعةٍ وثلاثين، وكان وقتها في باريس.
عندما فقدت زوجة المؤلف واسمها فيكتوريا طفلهما الأول، كان هذا الحدث الحزين في حياة الزوجين، هو الملهم لتأليف مقطوعة مونامور الرائعة، حيث ألفها على أنغام الغيتار.
 وكانت موسيقى مونامور
اسمها الأصلي “كونشرتو أرانخوير”، لكن سميت بمقطوعة مونامور فيما بعد، وتعتبر من نوع كونشرتو للجيتار، أي “الجيتار بمصاحبة الأوركسترا”.
تم تعديل المقطوعة كثيراً، حيث قام بهذه التعديلات المؤلف الأصلي، وموسيقيون آخرون.
كما قاموا بإضافة واستخدام العديد من الأدوات الموسيقية في تلحينها، فاستخدموا موسيقى الجاز، وذلك عن طريق الموسيقي الأمريكي “مايلز ديفيز”، الذي ضمنها في ألبومه الشهير الصادر في عام ألفٍ وتسعمئةٍ وستين.
استخدمت مقطوعة مونامور في العديد من الأغاني الغربية والعربية، وقد استعملتها السيدة فيروز في أغانيها أيضاً، وتحديداً في أغنيتها “لبيروت”.
استخدمها أيضاً الفنان ديمس روسس في أغانيه، وهو فنان يوناني، وكذلك استخدمها الفنان الفرنسي ريتشارد أنتوني في أغنية سماها “مونامور”، ومن هنا جاءت تسمية هذه المقطوعة باسم مونامور، وذلك في عام ألفٍ وتسعمئةٍ وسبعةٍ وستين.

It was also used by the artist Demis Rousses in his songs, a Greek artist, as well as the French artist Richard Anthony used it in a song he called "Monamour", hence the name of this piece Monamor, in the year one thousand nine hundred and sixty-seven.

Francis Albert Lai (French: [fʁɑ̃sis lɛ]; 26 April 1932 – 7 November 2018) was a French composer, noted for his film scores. He won the 1970 Oscar for Best Music, Original Score and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for the film Love Story. The soundtrack album went to No. 2 in the Billboard album charts and the film's theme, "Where Do I Begin", was a hit single for Andy Williams.

Lai was born on 26 April 1932, in Nice, France, the son of market gardeners of Italian origin.[1][2][3] From a very early age, Lai was fascinated by music and he played first in his local regional orchestras. In Marseilles he discovered jazz and met Claude Goaty, a singer of popular songs in the 50s.[4]

While in his twenties, Lai left home and followed Goaty to Paris, where he became part of the lively Montmartre music scene. The "Taverne d'Attilio" on the Place du Tertre in Montmartre, was a favorite place for the young talented Bernard Dimey [fr] with whom Lai composed his first song. Their song-writing partnership would extend to a hundred or so. After a short period with the orchestra of Michel Magne, Lai became an accompanist for Édith Piaf and composed for her.[4]

In 1965, he met filmmaker Claude Lelouch and was hired to help write the score for the film A Man and a Woman. Released in 1966, the film was an international success, earning a number of Academy Awards.[5] The young Lai received a Golden Globe Award nomination for "Best Original Score".[6] This initial success brought more opportunities to work for the film industry both in his native France, where he continued to work with Lelouch on scores to films such as Vivre pour vivre (1967), Un homme qui me plaît (1969), Le voyou (1970) and La bonne année (1973), as well as in Great Britain and the United States.[7][8] He was known for his support of Mireille Mathieu in many compositions and recordings.[1] In 1970 he wrote the score for director René Clément's film, Rider on the Rain ("Le passager de la pluie"). It sold over one million copies and was awarded a gold disc in September 1971.[9]

In 1970, Lai won the Academy Award for Best Music, Original Score and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for the film Love Story. In the United States, the soundtrack album reached No. 2 in the Billboard album charts and the film's theme, "Where Do I Begin", was a hit single with lyrics by Carl Sigman for singer Andy Williams.[10][11] The song would also be recorded successfully by Lai himself, with a full orchestra, and by Henry Mancini and Shirley Bassey.[12][13][14] Lai's "Love Story" theme was heard in the 1978 Love Story sequel titled Oliver's Story, although the main score was composed by Lee Holdridge.[15]

His movie scores included films as diverse as Mayerling, Three into Two Won't Go, International Velvet, Édith et Marcel, and Michael Winner films such as I'll Never Forget What's'isname and Hannibal Brooks. Lai also had success with music written for softcore erotic films like Emmanuelle 2 (1975) and Bilitis (1977).[16] Reviewing the soundtrack for Bilitis for AllMusic, Thom Jurek said: "The result would be hilarious if it weren't so predictable. This music is light to the point of almost not being there... Lai uses synthesizers, acoustic guitars, and a truckload of strings to weave what is supposed to be the "perfect" setting for two young lovers to do what young lovers do, but has it all coming out of the wash sounding like a commercial for those laundry detergents that are airy fresh, or a silent movie score where the music is supposed to tell you that this is a pensive moment."[17]
In a career spanning forty years, Lai also wrote music for television programs and alone or in collaboration with others has composed music for more than one hundred films and personally wrote more than six hundred songs. He wrote the music for the Perry Como hit "I Think of You", with lyrics by Rod McKuen.[19]

Nicola Piovani (born 26 May 1946) is an Italian light-classical musician, theater and film score composer, and winner of the 1998 Best Original Dramatic Score Oscar for the score of the Roberto Benigni film La Vita è bella, better known to English-speaking audiences as Life Is Beautiful.

After high school, Piovani enrolled at the Sapienza University of Rome, receiving his degree in piano from the Verdi Conservatory in Milan in 1967, and later studied orchestration under the Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis.

In 1971 and 1973 collaborated for the music of two albums of the songwriter Fabrizio De André: Storia di un impiegato and Non al denaro non all'amore né al cielo. In 2008, after De André departure, Piovani wrote the music for the film Amore che vieni, amore che vai, inspired by a novel of De André himself, Un destino ridicolo.

Among his more popular works is the score for the Federico Fellini film Intervista, his second of three collaborations with the famous director, the others being Ginger e Fred (Ginger and Fred in English) and La voce della luna (The Voice of the Moon). Years later, he composed a ballet titled Balletto Fellini.

In 2000 his Academy Award-winning score for La Vita è bella (Life Is Beautiful) was further nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Instrumental Composition Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media" category, losing to Randy Newman. In 2005 he was a member of the jury at the 27th Moscow International Film Festival.[1] In light of his recent work with French directors, notably Danièle Thompson, Philippe Lioret, and Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt, the French Minister of Culture gave him the title of Chevalier (Knight) of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres on 21 May 2008 at the Cannes Film Festival.

To date, Piovani has over 130 film scores to his credit, including films such as Slap the Monster on Page One (1972), The Perfume of the Lady in Black (1974), Flavia the Heretic (1974), Le Orme (1975), A Leap in the Dark (1980) The Night of the Shooting Stars (1982), and Kaos (1984). The music for the latter is considered by many as one of the best film scores ever done. However, he is reported to believe that "Too many film scores make a composer a hack, but in the theatre music is above all craftsmanship". Accordingly, he continues to work in musical theatre, and also composes concert and chamber music.

Piovani also composed the first opera Amorosa presenza on a libretto by Aisha Cerami and Nicola Piovani, based on the novel by Vincenzo Cerami and is performed at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste in January 2022.

Julio Iglesias La Paloma

Xuan Hieu is one of the leading saxophonists in Vietnam. He has released up to 10 albums, is the author of a number of popular songs and always participates in major art shows in the country.
At the age of 10, Xuan Hieu was first guided by his mother - a pianist - to familiarize himself with musical instruments and practice piano lessons. A few years later, Xuan My - the father of Xuan Hieu, a famous sacxophonist in the 40s and 60s - decided to choose him out of 9 children to pass on his skills. At the age of 19, Hieu joined the band Dai Duong as the youngest member. In mid-1996, he joined the founding of Saigon Jazz with singer Tuyet Loan and performed weekly at the HCMC Opera House. Jazz music is picky about the audience, does not belong to the majority, is difficult to feel... There are many reasons why jazz is not as popular as pop, techno, disco, funk music, which have a large number of fans. Saying goodbye to jazz, Hieu decided to direct his way towards the masses.
In 2001, Xuan Hieu emerged as a rare young saxophonist in HCMC. He plays all kinds of music from techno, pop, funk to disco... If Hong Nhung is often associated with saxo artist Tran Manh Tuan, then My Linh, Thu Phuong, Lam Truong, Cam Ly, Phuong Thanh love style. Xuan Hieu's "dirty" way is more. Sylvie Vartan (born 15 August 1944) is a French singer known as one of the most productive and tough-sounding yé-yé artists. Her performances often featured elaborate show-dance choreography, and she made many appearances on French and Italian TV. Yearly shows with then-husband Johnny Hallyday attracted full houses at the Olympia and the Palais des congrès de Paris throughout the 1960s and mid-1970s. In 2004, after a break in performances, she began recording and giving concerts of jazz ballads in francophone countries.

بلا قلق ولا ندم ولا آلهة ولا أتباع. إيمانٌ واحد لهم: العبور.
المتخلّون عن الأمكنة والأوطان والآباء والبنين. كاسرو القيد. مخرّبو المشنقة المصنوعة من حديد المكان والزمان والانتماء.
إنهم يتساقطون، الواحد تلو الآخر، المتشبثون بالإقامة. يتساقطون بأوطانهم التي صارت وهمًا. بانتماءاتهم التي صارت كذبًا. بأبوَّتهم التي صارت عبئًا. بايماناتهم التي تقتلنا، وتقتلهم، وتقتل الحياة.

أهل الهوى - بسمة جبر

هالة الصباغ مغنية سورية من مدينة السويداء 

تاريخ 29-11-1998 وقفت الطفلة السورية هالة الصباغ على مسرح مهرجان " النقود الذهبية " في إيطاليا و غنت أغنيتها الشهيرة "يا أطفال العالم" باللغتين العربية والإيطالية، والتي حصدت من خلالها الجائزة الذهبية على مستوى العالم.
هذه الأغنية التي أثرت في أجيال متلاحقة وعلمتهم معنى الحب والسلام بعد 15 عام تعود هالة لتغني نفس الأغنية وعلى نفس المسرح والمهرجان و تهدي أغنيتها للسلام في بلدها سوريا، حيث تحل هالة ضيفة على مهرجان "النقود الذهبية" في إيطاليا بعد غياب طويل.
هالة الصبية السورية طلبت من مقدمي الحفل أن تتكلم بلغتها العربية من أجل أن تصل الرسالة من جديد وبعد 15 عاماً إلى أهلها في سوريا والعالم العربي الذي يبدو اليوم أنه بحاجة إلى السلام والمحبة والتآخي أكثر من أي وقت مضى.

In the Summer of 1888, Edward Elgar and Alice Roberts were heading towards marriage. Edward decided on a holiday with his long-standing friend, Dr Charles Buck of Settle, Yorkshire. As he left Worcester, Alice presented Edward with a poem she had written and entitled Love's Grace. While on holiday in Settle, Edward reciprocated by writing a short piece of music for her, which he called Liebesgruss (Love's Greeting). The work carried the dedication "To Carice", a contraction of his future wife's forenames Caroline Alice with which they subsequently christened their daughter. On his return from Settle, Elgar presented the work to his wife and proposed to her. They married at the Brompton Oratory in South Kensington, London in May the following year.

Towards the end of 1888, Edward submitted three arrangements of the work - for solo piano, for violin and piano, and an orchestral arrangement - to the music publishing firm of Schott who agreed to buy the work outright for a fee of two guineas. At first, the work sold slowly. Apparently with Elgar's approval, Schott's retitled the work Salut d'Amour and gave the composer's name as Ed. Elgar, believing that the French title and a less obviously English composer would help the work gain wider international approval. It did, much to the publisher's satisfaction but with no financial benefit to Elgar.

It is easy to dismiss Salut d'Amour as an insignificant trifle, salon music not deserving a wider audience. However, for the work to establish itself so forcefully in what was a fiercely competitive field says much for its charm and quality. And, as Elgar's first published work, it has a historical value, containing pointers to the skills that Elgar was to develop and display in his later works.

Elgar subsequently composed a companion piece, Mot d'Amour (Liebesahnung or Love's Word). Although in many ways structurally and dramatically superior to the earlier work, it failed to capture the public affection of its predecessor and is rarely heard today.
