LUNA J draws inspiration from the likes of YUNGBLUD, 5 Seconds of Summer and Fletcher on this track. With a great guitar hook, the track boasts a sense of swagger. LUNA J recalls writing the track during lockdown whilst waiting on her brother to pick her up. Pushed for time, this led to the fast paced vocal lines heard in the verses which really drives the song forward.

Addiction is about being drawn back to someone, knowing exactly who they are, that they are toxic and not good to have in your life. 
However you can’t help wanting their attention, always giving them what they want. 

The song talks about not wanting to go back to a bad situations involving them, but they still have so much power over you that holds you and makes you want to stay Addicted

Wipe My Tears is about standing up to situations that have brought you down. Using your anger in a different way, so it becomes a fuel to fight for who you are. 
We should be actively appreciating ourselves and remember you matter, you have worth and you can follow your own rules.

Writing this track with Becki Rutherford was a blast, written in Dundee during a writing camp arranged by Be Charlotte. 
Being able to then take the track to London and record it with Jack Jordan (Tova) who then part produced the track was amazing and I was very lucky to have the track finished with final production from Prentice Robertson (Vistas).

I'm so excited for this track, hope people love it as much as I do.

LUNA J grew up in Edinburgh. Capturing attention from artist like Nickelback and The Struts. In 2023 Luna released her debut EP “A State Of Mind” which features “Addiction” that got track of the week on BBC introducing Scotland. 

Taking influence from Dominic Fike , Avril Lavigne 

LUNA J is quickly grabbing the industry’s attention and is definitely one to look out for in 2025
