In this episode we have Andrew Walker co-founder and  owner of Stratford CT Records on the show to discuss music, his labels origins and history. He takes us through his early days of the record label up to what he is doing now. We get into the details of running a label and he gives his unguarded insight into what its like to be an independent label. We discuss vinyl of course and his philosophies regarding what and how he releases records.

Andrew has been at the forefront of what is known as Chillwave or Chillsynth music. He helped launch the genre of music into something truly unique both in terms of sound and culture. Andrew is know for his specific curation of music and passion to bring artists to the fore Either through his label as a full release or through his secret selections series that brings up and coming artists to the attention of many.

made with a variety of different analog, '80s synthesizers and drum sample floppy disks ran into a roland s-550. a good deal of the album was created after i moved into a comically small apartment and started college, and switched up my signal routings. lots of techniques! you can email me if you have any specific questions about the creation of this album.

(this isn't the big album i've been working on the past 2 years, that one's a much different tone. i've been working on this for about a year and a half concurrently with the big album, this is me getting that synths + drum machine itch scratched lol.)
