Wow. Captivating cut Gina.  You're really creating some nice abstract feels of the times.  Very awesome!

Wonderful ambient piece, love the vocals and the well set guitar chops …

I started to listen here then noticed the video link so went for that as suggested. Ended up listening/watching each one. The video is really cool. Split screen slightly off sync, nice touch. To me, has a flash back vibe going on. The guitar tone is fantastic. Lovely spoken words and the singing part of the vocal has a real haunting folk feel. Love the emotion coming from your voice on "Could not receive it".

That's a really great music / lyrics / video composition... In these times we need more such moments of inner reflection, I think ..

I want to also explain about this song and us as artists. We have already made, and will continue to make songs in our genre of catchy pop, earthy folk and ethereal mystique. We are comfortable there, but we thought we would try something a little different, a little left field. This is arty and abstract, just for fun... but it was also kind of serious, inspired after having just finished reading Angela's Ashes.

Watchglass are a duo. We like exploring 
musical directions and having fun making songs and albums. We have been working as a partnership since 2017, or most of the time since then. Gina is the singer and lyricist. Mark is the guitarist and everything else and makes the songs and is the one who Gina will forever hold responsible for showing her she could not only sing well enough to front a band but also write passable, and sometimes even excellent songs.... Happily we found each other again after a longish split.
