sup dog? this is my first release out on CloudKid. I wrote and produced this song in the middle of a forest. The song is about people's ability to shut off all their senses when they know that something is destroying them. Hope you can relate x

goodbye is me letting out my frustrations about myself and how I've been acting the past few years.  My cynicism has started taking over my life more and more. I constantly compare myself to other people and always try to pick out things I don’t like about them. I’ve driven myself to a point where I feel like I’ve lost all my friends because of useless, non-sensical reasons. Sometimes I wish they never got to know me in the first place. In the end though, I wonder if it's truly doing any good. The moment I let go of that part of me, I truly feel like I’m happy.

I wish I had the right words to express how much I miss you. I wish I knew how to make this feel okay. I wish I held onto that last hug for just a bit longer. I wish I never took you for granted. Moving on feels like betrayal, but I know that’s foolish, it’s what you’d want. They say time will heal, but to me it feels like time is just taking you further away.
