I miss my friends and family dearly, I miss playing show's and visiting the sea which is such a special place to me. I wrote this song about the hope that everything will revert back to the way it was, dreaming about the days we can see each other again. Poolside is a song about 'the other woman' written whilst remembering the summer where I'd wait under palms for someone to arrive. And the moon would be swimming in the water of the pool at midnight. I'd cool my heels and stay next to the hydrangeas where we met every time, like a vision of darkness. Driving through those summer nights on highways lined with lights. Up until the night he left forever. And I still go down to the poolside to wait for him to return.

Goodbye kiss is an ode to an old flame that was taken away before I got the chance to say goodbye. It’s about trying to move on from not just a person but your best days, remembering the late night drives and being young. We had nothing and no money to our names but we were happy drinking cheap wine and were surrounded by a community of beautiful people. My only wish is that he left me a parting gift, a goodbye kiss.
