Santiago Vieira aka SV3 is a Uruguayan musician/producer borned and raised in Barrio Sur, Montevideo.

At an early age of 4, Santiago started his path into music by studying in the Taller Uruguayo de Música Popular (T.U.M.P.). 

Strongly surrounded by artists, his passion for electronic music began when he was a teenager influenced by the clubs he went to and talented local artists from his hometown such as Z@p, DJ Koolt, Matías Muten, Nicolas Lutz, Hernán González aka Two Phase U, Santiago Uribe and many more.

Later on, he participated in locally respected projects such as @deeper.uy and @atemporal.discos. The first one is a prestigious Uruguayan party and the second one is a rising vinyl store.

On this occasion he presents us his first Live format Set inviting Software and analog hardware.

His first contact with electronic music was with retro video games, which unconsciously inspired him for the years to come. Like the soundtracks he listened too, he was tought to tell a story. You hear this through mixing and his productions, which delve straight into the 90s with an assortment of jumpy rhythms and story driving sounds.

From the get go you are launched into a realm of nostalgia with a classic Zelda sample which sets the tone for the next hour.

Prepare yourself for a seriously killer selection from Andy, with plenty of deep cuts to get us excited for the warmer months.

hiatus has finished, new wax is molded and Vakum spits out their celebratory tenth release. Warped Reality EP revisites galactic and spacious backbone sounds from not so long ago infused with fresh production spices. In this case, Cosmic G & Laars, the duo which grows from the new Serbian batch. Take a listen to this five-tracker riddled with space blasters and hypnotic segments.

A!. Flowing through interstellar space, B Star revisites some well known and loved sounds from early hypnotic era of electronic music. Upon arriving to the quazzar crossroads it also dives into breakbeat moments just to be reformed into acid sphere once again. A touch of trance goes a long way.

A2. Sometimes you hear a track that resmebles multiple tracks combined. This is just the case in Terestrial  Dreams. Filled with dreamy and galactic delays it pushes itself into endless progressive spiral of heavy bassline, smooth perc shots and otherworldly segments.

B1. All about the cosmic ride in a night train between two planets. Along the way it pasess through multiple sound stations and realms inviting even more passengers for this sparkling night out. Pure delicacy!

B2. Broken beats, scrapping vocals and intermitting bassline. Babble is inhaling acid hits from 
the sorroundings and projects them onto punchy snares and raw rhytmics to be carried further into old school babble beats. Perfect B side. 

B3. The outcast. The villan. The bad guy. Slow and ominous pace bundled with serious bassline sequence that goes into offence during the vocal break. This burner really stomps heavy hits onto you and smashes every sonic valve while pouring acid. "Oh, well, allow me to retort."

SMS began his relationship with music at the age of six, living in a small city in Italy learning the saxophone. Since moving to Rome ten years ago, his progression from there has seen his influences broaden widely, opening his world to the international circuit. Increased communication and dialogue, retrieving ideas and expanding a network of likeminded people has resulted from organising events at Rome’s Goa Club, finding its way back into his music.  

Creating a celestial atmosphere, soundscapes pave the connection between soul and mind. SMS tells the story through a range of input channels covering early electronic music, instrumental, film score, and dreamy progressive sounds. Here, his concept is to illustrate the connection between natural and electronic dimensions. Passing scenes drift into one another, effusing the soft fragrance of passing moments. Calming rhythms move like the environment and its surroundings, rising and falling like the natural breath.

Kicking-off the EP is the retro futurism of ‘Don E = Dark O’ - a melancholic, chiaroscuro-esque house-meets-techno track harking back to a bygone era of rave. The A2 ‘Fool Circle’ shifts gears into the afterhours with an infectious, metallic groove. On the flip, aquatic-deep techno cut ‘Sea Sex Librarian’ dubs things out with trippy vocals and a booming round baseline. Rounding out the EP, ‘Get Outta 84’ conjures cinematic dystopia with deep electro-infused breaks.
