THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG: I was going through a notebook of all the songs I have written over the years.  I found one song I wrote way back in June of 1978 (I was 24 at the time).  It's a song about all the songs I had written.  The title of the song was "Songs."  The words kept on repeating "getting old" for some reason.  Now that I'm 70 years old, that line would now be correct.  I AM getting old.  So I rewrote several lines to that song speaking more about my Christian experience and how Jesus has set me free.
