Femtek is a group of flinta/women* from Leipzig, Dresden and Berlin (Germany) running a sound system under the same name. They are also active in the free party scene elsewhere.
Femtek organises parties where women* do lighting, sound engineering, dj-ing and live-producing. We want to create a party space where everyone feels comfortable, where skillsharing, networking and empowerment happen.
That's important for women* in the Free Tekno Scene because of the scene's culture of machismo and male dominance. In this world it seems that women* get respect only by developing toughness and acting “like a real guy”. At Femtek women* develop only their skills and do not act, they come as they are: individuals who love and make hard music. Non-machist cis men, who question the concepts of machismo and masculinity, are very welcome as audience.

starting with female artist @shirin-farassat and trying out the surprising 4-band-dj-mixer on the fine PA of indutiarum sound system at sektor evolution.

Twisted – verdreht, verschlungen, verflochten – sind auf dieser Party die drei Genres Acid-Tekno, Bass und Psy. Dafür bauen tba-
Soundsystem und Daimon ein special Dub(step)-Soundsystem auf. Der Subbass wird subversiver, die Höhen crisper und die Kick schiebt das ganze Frequenzspektrum durch eure Körper. Und dann wird getwisted: Die Genres wandern über die Floors, und die PA wird auf die verschiedenen Styles optimiert. Aber warum dieser Aufwand?

Radikal Guru kommt! Der "Dub Mentalist" spielt ein DJ-set, in welchem er Dub, Reggae und Dubstep fusioniert. Im Jahr 2011 war er das letzte Mal in Dresden. Es wird also wieder Zeit für Ihn.

Es gibt sieben Live-sets von internationalen Acid-Tekno-Acts. Brz und Stije werden feinsten Acid-Tekno spielen, Kaoslog reflektiert das Genre mit seinem Modularsystem, Mr. Flag macht tribe-lastigen Acidcore. Mit female Artists wie La Kajofol (melodiöser Acid-Tribe) und SymenTek (Tekno) wird die Sichtbarkeit von Musikerinnen im männlich dominierten Tekno gestärkt.

Female DJs sind Tina, Labelbetreiberin von Defrostatica, Hoodie und mʊdʌki (Footwork) auf dem Bassfloor, Katjuscha, Flurie und Prima Ballerina auf dem Psy Floor sowie Shannon Soundquist auf dem Mental Floor.

Der Bassfloor wird von Grawinkel, Jenkins Juke und T.Low Rock sowie von DJs von PamB Soundsystem und tba Sndsystm bespielt.

Im Psy-Areal wird es dark, zwielichtig und waldig. Teratom spielt Hi-Tech und Psycore, Ogrim macht den Goapunk.

Die raumauflösende Deko, die Frequenzen der Musik und ihr werden sich zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk verdrehen, verschlingen, verflechten.
