We wrote these songs on a year-long bicycle journey from China to France, and performed them along the way in parks, alleys, and busy streets.

We are a self-organized bicycle band who biked from Beijing to Paris via SE Asia, India, and Nepal - around 20,000km cycled in 14 months, on about $5 a day per person. We had three main goals:

1. Learn from people of all walks of life met along the way

2. Build intercultural understanding, friendship, and peace

3. Advocate for simpler, low carbon lives to protect our environment

We performed in Chinese city squares, in homes of those who graciously welcomed us in for a night or a meal, and busked on European streets to pay for that part of our trip.

Upon returning to Minnesota (home for half of us), we recorded our original songs we wrote along the way - this album.
