As we find ourselves in a 2nd lockdown, we are proud to bring you our 2nd series; DECENNIUM, which celebrates 10 years of Natural Selection. We will bring you mixes and live sets recorded exclusively for Natural Selection, from a long list of our residents, past guests and other closely affiliated artists and friends. We feel in the current climate it is crucial to unify together our artists and supporters and we are so happy to be able to continue to provide a platform for music, whilst we are forced into this lockdown situation. Thank you to everyone involved for bringing this together and making it possible.

Kicking off the series is none other than Dez Williams (Elektronik Religion, Mechatronica), an artist who we hold huge appreciation for. Hailing from Holy Island, off the coast of North Wales, Dez Williams began his musical journey at a very early age and has become one of the most reputable producers and machine enthusiasts to grace the scene today. Inspired by many of the classic Chicago / Detroit / Electro / Techno producers, his sound is unique, uncompromising and unpredictable. His vision of Techno is deep and futuristic with a heavy dose of machine funk. His tracks can range from driving Techno to melancholic and dark synthesiser orchestrations, ghostly deep listening, straight up Electro cuts and beyond. Within his sounds are vast amounts of detail for the listener to decipher. Emotions transmitted through mathematics and code. 

Williams' tracks have found their way into the sets of DJ's like Dave Clarke, Adam X, John Peel, Ellen Allien, Mike Dred and Rob Hall. His debut LP 'Elektronik Religion' for the SCSI label was hailed as "One of the very few truly great electro albums of the new century". Dez has since released on an array of heavyweight labels including Ai, Brokntoys, Diffuse Reality, Mechatronica, Shipwrec and his own label Elektronik Religion. 

We feel honoured to have him open our series with this lethal set made exclusively for Natural Selection.
