Description: Every composer loves to have a performer request a work, and this is one of those. Bernard Blary, a fabulous flute player, made such a request one evening over a glass of wine and this is the result - a very lovely little concerto. I even wrote a few good lines for the French Horn because Bernard's wife plays it and they could have had a friendly duet. Sadly, it has not yet been performed.
