Alexthehippie is an American recording artist from Fort Worth, Tx. Only in his mid 20’s Hippie has accomplished many goals he set for himself . With his smooth deliverence and somewhat exotic lyrics, the fort worth native brings something different to the table. With success early on in his career, difficult trials came and almost made the young artist put down music forever.

Alexthehippie born "Alexander Mouton" is the middle child of 4 boys. Growing up in a single parent household in Forest Hill , Alex was forced to grow up faster than other kids his age. Staying in and out of trouble at school, at only 14 Alex was sent off to live with a relative in Wichita Falls , Tx. With no help from anyone , Alex picked up bad habits just to survive. Due to an outbreak with his uncle , Hippie was sent back to dallas where he stayed with his mother and younger brother. Years later life started getting quite difficult for the young teen, at 18 he found himself with no diploma or plans for the future. Inbetween jobs , Hippie knew something had to change. Alex quit his job , and put all his effort into his music. In Oct of 2015 , Hippie release his single "Party" under the name "Alexgotnext". With 100,000 plays on soundcloud in only month , Alex was becoming very popular on social media. That success would fall short the upcoming year due to falling out with his girlfriend at the time. Hippie decided to stop pursuing his music. With over 100,000 followers on instagram and twitter , he decided to deleted all of his social media accounts and music . Being away from music for a year, in 2017 Hippie decided to pick back up with his career under the name "Alexthehippie". Fast forward to 2020 , Hippie dropped his debut album “Hill$ide”.
