For our third chapter in the Orbita mix series we are pleased to present this gem by Martyn Päsch. 
He delivers an elegant and charming mix taking our series into deeper and delicate realms of electronic music. With soft hints of House, Ambient and Deep Techno it's the perfect soundtrack to the changing of seasons and ending of a busy year. 
You might have heard the prolific Mexican producer and DJ with some of his many releases on well regarded international labels or from his own formidable KVLTÖ Records catalogue. 
With a world of sound ranging from Deep Techno, Ambient or Experimental we are pleased to showcase his wide reaching talent on our mix series.

Orbita 03 - Martyn Päsch

Welcome to another codecast X experience.

For this one we're introducing Ronny Pinazza.

Born and raised between the fantastic mountain valleys of the Italian Dolomites and the industrial city of Ludwigshafen in Germany, he spent most of his childhood playing in the woods. This past still connects him inseparably from nature and its forms of life.
He tries to convey this feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language.

His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Since he is not a musician, he uses this "ignorance" and the freedom that results from it.
Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds.

His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out his journey to develope his musical language.

“This journey will be endless, full of universes yet to be explored and they are
all within us“.

Santiago Ochoa es un artista que pertenece a la segunda generación de DJs y productores de Medellín, conocido actualmente como Sepian, quien durante su evolución como selector se ha caracterizado por un sonido marcado y definido que se inspira en paisajes sonoros ambientales y ritmos hipnóticos, obteniendo siempre una búsqueda pura y profunda de la música sin dejar de lado melodías y ritmos enfocados al club. Enfrentarse a un set de Sepian, es abrirse a un estado de conciencia que responde a la experiencia inmediata de abrirse ante una apreciación de vigilia y de atención orientada al mundo en relación con la realidad de la vida cotidiana y sus procesos ordinarios, haciendo énfasis siempre en sonidos profundos que permitan alcanzar su búsqueda y versatilidad sonora.
Desde 2018, Sepian ha continuado su camino como DJ y productor, buscando cada vez más seguir trabajando en un sonido más maduro y honesto donde los ritmos y texturas del deep techno, los paisajes sonoros ambientales, beats hipnóticos y vanguardistas, le permitieron reflejar sus habilidades e ideas en sellos colombianos como Granulart Spectrum, Rouge y From a Lost Place, que muestran un enfoque claro permitiéndole a la vez participar en el Freedom Festival 2020 y 2022, compartiendo recorriendo la principales ciudades de Colombia.

It's our pleasure to feature the amazing Gaia for our fifth episode of the Herbarium mix series. She is a rising artist from Colombia and tells beautiful immersive stories with her DJ sets. 
Gaia chose the Cocoa tree, scientifically called ‚Theobroma cacao‘, as the topic for this lovely journey. The reason for this is that she has a very close connection to this plant since she is part of the farm 'Chocolate Don Gerardo' which harvests it to produce some outstanding chocolate. The mix sounds as exquisite as their natural cacao tastes, so make sure to have a closer listen. ..and maybe a little bite of that chocolate if you pass by Colombia ;)

Laima Adelaide is an electronic music composer and producer who has her own label, Predawn Records, which specializes on deep and ambient techno. 
She studied classical composition in Stuttgart, however she is inspired by avant-garde music as well.
She has released music on labels such as Oslated, Phonotropsimi, Annulled Music, and others.
Her music and live performances feature noisy textures, deep hypnotic grooves, and airy melody but are also deeply influenced by nature and its components, such as water and air.

We've already read that his music is dark and cold. It is also beautiful and subtle. French producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong, intense and singular musical identity, where incisive techno meets the icy atmospheres of coldwave. Some people characterize his work as Cinematic or Cold Techno, with a strong focus on complex rhythms, dark sound design and contemplative melancholy.
Author of numerous releases on different labels (Khoros Records, Chez KitoKat, Bella Ursa, Spazio Magnetico...), this DJ and live artist makes his shows real journeys, as powerful as introspective.

ARTISTS BIO: 
Gianluca Meloni, born in Rome , made his musical path trough different styles; has been studying Piano at “Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Roma” and played in various underground bands; his big passion about music starts back when he after being listening to Tangerine Dreams first album decides to buy his first synth: a Korg MS-10.
He was a pioneer in the 90′s and was able to insert electronic seeds into an underground scene mainly ruled by Gianluca Meloni A.K.A. LAERTES
progressive rock; his most important contribution in that period was to the album “Strani Sogni” of the band SIG V, CNI Music -Italy.
His debut single “Perchè Non Parli” was a huge successs in Italy and was much more than often played in italians radio’s shows;

Not that later he mets up with Dino Sabatini, still “just” a guitarist, after a studio session and a very solid friendship, based on their common passion for music, starts to grow between them; that amazing duo soon became the “Modern Heads” project, leading both of them to play in some of the most prestigious clubs around the globe as Panorama Bar in Berlin, Brancaleone in Rome and Macumba, Madrid, AIR Tokyo, FUSE in Bruxelles, just to list few.
Some years later Gianluca together with Carlo Alfano became the founder of the project “notfromearth“, expanding his artistic view into a very well crafted new Audio & Video concept, revealing soon his high level of professionally and experience; his first e.p. on Prologue label, “Origin e.p.”, is indeed a big proof of that !.
In 2016 Start new Solo project LAERTES his new solo project, Laertes, inspired by the research of electronic music through the modular synthesis and passion for live improvisation, in which reason in his live set will always find vintage analog instruments, and modern technology.

The year is coming to an end, bringing us frosty nights and misty days full of contemplative moments. But not only the year is ending, also our Circulating Waves series is having its last episode after two years of existence. For the last act we are happy to welcome an important figure for our scene here in Berlin: Hypnotic Black Magic.

The seemingly tireless creator of Art bei Ton and Ambient Sleepers has hosted countless events and brought people from all over the world to Berlin dedicated to hypnotic music. Furthermore she visibly aims to promote diverse international artists within gender-balanced line ups, focusing of offering safe space for flinta* and queer artists to perform. Based in the capital, but also traveling around, she had the chance to play at venues like Griessmühle and ://about blank in Berlin, VENT in Tokyo, Gare in Porto, Vurt. in Seoul, Ciało in Wroclaw and many other events and cities in the world. She creates musical journeys conceived as introspective explorations of human's deepest obscure thoughts, meditative states and sensual expressions.

Hypnotic Black Magic has done honour to her closing duty, as her mix guides us through all the colors of the vortex for a last time: Sirens are singing on lush flying particles, eerie atmospheres are backing quirky sounds and flowing rythms are merging into heavy rollers. 66 minutes which will suck you in, roll you over and release you as different being.

Every ending is a new beginning, so stay tuned through our channels for the launch of our new podcast series called “Dynamic Spheres” in January 2023!

Brice Deloose (Pattrn), co-founder of FTRSND & BEM, Initiate and artistic director of the Fuse club, has spent a lot of time promoting local artists and collectives to develop the Brussels underground.

His work can be found on numerous labels including Aarden Records, The Gods Planet, Deflection Music, Initiate Records, KVLTÖ Records, including the recently released 'Outline EP' on Space Textures.

It seems that his inner strength, which he has accumulated step by step over his long career, is melted into a structured sound in one set. With sonic experiments, syncopated rhythms and intricately crafted atmospheres, he appeals to the message he is trying to convey.
