The 19th episode of our podcast is contributed by @sn_1054 - a friend of the collective who got into techno by raving nights away at berghain and soon started to DJ herself. Just like us she started with illegal raves and open airs, mainly together with the atopie crew (@atopiemusic) in Leipzig, followed by bigger gigs in Berlin and beyond. 
For her, DJing comes close to therapy and with her sets she's communicating in the most beautiful language there is, as she told us.

After witnessing one of their sets at Amsterdam institution @breakfast-club-music-1 last year, we felt an instant urge to invite Caim (@caim-records) to our mix series.

While Caim is a recent project, its members Tommy Kornuijt and Mark Antoni have been active in Amsterdam’s scene for years as independent DJ’s, most notably with their residency for the Breakfast Club where they have become known for extended after-hour sets. Last summer they released a first EP on their self-titled label Caim Records, with a second release scheduled for early 2019.

Our first mix of 2019 by Caim is a perfect reflection of their sound: Timeless and with a hypnotizing groove, it finely treads the line between organic techno and rolling breaks.

One of the most up-and-coming duo in deep techno; Primal Code shared a recording of their live performance at MOKA, a events series based in Milan. 1-and-a-half hour of soothing beats, acid and heartwarming sounds that hypnotise your mind.

Was really in the mood to dive into the dubbier side of things with this one. I just think it's one of the most adaptable forms of music to any situation and state of mind. Personally, I enjoy it mostly on a gray, winter day which is probably why I recorded it at this time of the year. Mod21 is the project of Manuele Chiaravalloti, an italian electronic music producer and experimental sound artist. Born in Satriano, Italy, his musical journey began in 2007 when he moved to Switzerland. Here, after 7 years of musical research, produces his first two works released on the Munich based label Prologue. His music emerges from a deep and rich imagination which flows into sounds dark and slippery that seem to be born in the bowels of a parallel world to ours. Browsing increasingly abstract concepts of sound, carefully processed , the result is a particular footprint easily recognizable.
