Giulia Fournier-Mercadante (GiGi FM) is a multi-disciplinary artist, DJ, resident of NTS Radio, dancer and music producer. Boldly versatile, GiGi FM’s selections have charmed bodies on dancefloors all across the world, such as Berghain, Rural Japan, Draaimolen, Fabric, De School, Primavera, The Bunker New York, and Sustain Release. In the booth her genre-defying spirit is in full effect with techno, bass, breaks and ambient all coming in to play.

Deeply influenced by astrology, philosophy and the cosmos; for GiGi, music is both a tool for expression and introspection. As a multi- hyphenate artist, she continues on her quest to push artistic boundaries and hold space for unique audience experiences. Whatever medium she may adopt, the result is a rich embodiment of the interconnectedness of sound, colour, movement and metaphysics.

Anomali is a producer and DJ from Gothenburg, focusing on deep and hypnotic techno.

After finding out how to make music with computers back in 1994, the path was clear. The electronic music revolution of the ‘90s provided endless inspiration, and soon he found a passion for house, techno, psytrance and drum & bass. Making his DJ debut in 2002 helped him discover the creative feedback loop that both performing and producing music can lead to. Following decades of honing his craft, throwing raves and DJing, in 2020 it was finally time to get serious. Deep and hypnotic techno felt just like home, combining influences from all of the incredible music he grew up with in the ‘90s with a modern approach to sound design.

With several remixes under his belt, and his debut EP released on Fur:ther Sessions, Anomali is off to a flying start. His mixes have been featured in platforms like Monument, KVLTÖ Records, Revelation of Sound, Indefinite Pitch, Charybdis and Cellar Door.

Despite he is a young producer, he has already released music in labels such as NFEREE, BAHN· Records, Indefinite Pitch, BUDE Records, Crescent London, Unheard and Circular Limited.
He is also co-founder of the newborn Tbilisi based label, Spira Records, alongside Tsott and Solarmental.
Gurami has left his mark in clubs such as TES, Cafe-Gallery or Kibe in Georgia, but also at LAUT and Macarena in Barcelona (ES).

Pianeti Sintetici ('synthetic planets' in Italian) is a new conceptual project by Davide Perrone (Primal Code) that draws inspiration from the factories of Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission.

“This concept has always fascinated me, and I chose the name to frame a hypothetical future of synthetic worlds, told with sound,' Davide says. 'I like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So, I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can explore these inspirations.”

Pianeti Sintetici already has three stand out releases on the legendary Hypnus records and has played a string of mind bending shows, including this mix, which is a live set from the 2023 edition of Positive Education. Tune in for high fidelity alien psychadelia teased over hypnotizing interstellar grooves 👽👾🛸

With his growing presence in the Dutch music scene and strong ties to Enschede's music community, Remma's journey has been nothing short of adventurous. 

Over the past few years, he's been a driving force in shaping the Enschede scene with his DIY radio station ITMOTR Radio. His style, characterized by deep, rhythmic, and explorative narratives, has captured dance floors across the country, including Amsterdam, with his contributions to events like Het Einde at De School and weekenders at Garage Noord.

We want to add a special thank you note to this one, since Remma is also the creative mind behind the artwork for our upcoming series, adding his unique vision to the experience he brings to our podcast.

PYRO is a new party that promotes techno from all over Japan, led by Mari Sakurai and Shinsuke Goto and featuring Shinji Stamaria from Kobe, YMT from Osaka, and k:sea, which relocated from Sendai to Tokyo. 

The event focuses on showcasing the local scene of a new generation of DJs throughout Japan and to develop their sound.
