Kiala Ogawa has grown and developed the music that has accompanied her since childhood.

Being the daughter of one of the Fela Kuti great guitarists and a Japanese mother, she was brought up with Afrobeat from an early age but also with traditional and eclectic Japanese culture.

She first made a name for herself with the duo Kodäma, that she forms alongside Thomas Hugenel, in which she knew how to combine this unique mix through compositions as well as singing.

Kiala also had the opportunity to collaborate alone on several French and international projects, in particular alongside the conductor Uèle Lamore for the "Série Mania" project as a keyboardist, or even as a singer with the Japanese group Soil and Pimp Session for their album Dapper in 2018.
