Jerell is a singer songwriter from Saint Louis, Missouri. Going to church with his grandmother, Jerell loved hearing the choir sing. Sparked when he was four years old, Jerell's love for music deepened when he started acting and singing in school plays, concerts and productions. Before long, Jerell was in the studio recording his own music. His first song, “Flex,” was released when Jerell was a high school freshman. From that moment on, Jerell has been producing his own music, with a special gift for writing lyrics and melodies that erase the line between pop and R&B. Jerell is especially inspired by genre-blurring artists like Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Prince.
